Speaking at Fast Growth Icons Manchester

Last year, I had the privilege of speaking at the Fast Growth Icons event in Manchester, held at The Edwardian Manchester - an invitation-only gathering of around 80 founders and CEOs from some of the region’s most ambitious and fastest-growing scale-ups.

Fast Growth Icons isn’t a typical conference. It’s built for candid conversation, for honesty, and for founders who want to learn from one another without ego or pretence. The purpose of the network is to support leaders navigating the challenges of rapid scaling - helping them build the next generation of £100m+ revenue companies.

That mission resonates deeply with me. Having founded UK Fuels in 1990 and grown it into Radius - now serving hundreds of thousands of customers globally - I know first-hand how isolating the founder journey can sometimes feel. If my story can make even one person’s path a little smoother, that’s time well spent.
