Back in the old days I wrote every quote and was responsible for every single bit of sales and marketing material that left the business. Now there is an army of people involved (marketing, project management, developers etc) and with no individuals taking ownership which has lead to a gradual deterioration of standards.

A few weeks ago I began to get more closely involved with an important project in our Telematics Division to migrate customers (and their 40K asset trackers) from one of the software platforms we inherited as part of an acquisition to our most modern one, “Kinesis Pro”.

As I embark on my annual round of interviewing potential candidates to join the growing Radius Graduate scheme, it is always interesting to listen to the questions they have brought along to ask me, about what I think is important in terms of how they approach their first role.
